Summer
Camp Helpful Hints
Drop
Off & Pick Up Procedures
You
must sign in your child when you drop him/her in and sign your
child out at the end of the day. You will drop off and pick up your child at the Carter
Avenue Facility (5151 Carter Avenue). Remember only people authorized by you, IN WRITING, will be
allowed to pick up your child. All People unknown to us will need a photo ID — even
parents.
Camp
Hours
Summer
Camp ends at 3:00 pm, you may pick up your campers at this time.
We will offer after care for those parents that are
working. Please keep
in mind that all children must be picked up no later than 6:00pm
or per minute fees will be charged.
What
to bring…
Your
child will need to bring his/her lunch to camp each day, except
Friday. Every Friday,
the children will make lunch together.
Please do not bring any toys or electronic games from home
to play with during the day. It
is important to understand that beloved objects can be broken or
lost.
Summer
Camp Attire
Please
have your child wear comfortable, appropriate play clothes to
summer camp – shorts and t-shirts are great!
The will have lots of opportunities to get dirty and messy.
Please make sure all backpacks, totebags, lunchboxes, and
clothing are marked with their name.
Children should wear sturdy sandals or sneakers so they can
run and play outside.
Sunscreen
Please
put sunscreen on your child before coming to camp.
They may keep a bottle in their backpack or lunchbox, as we
do not provide or apply sunscreen at camp.
Snacks and Lunches
Two
summer camp snacks will be provided during the day and will often
be created by the children. Please
plan to bring a healthy bag lunch for your child Monday –
Thursday and keep in mind we do not have access to refrigerate or
heat up the lunches. On Fridays the children will be making their
own lunches during camp.
Special
Concerns
If
your child has food allergies, medication, or other special
concerns, please let us know on the registration form.
We want to partner with parents to make summer fun for
everyone coming to camp.
