Things to
Know:
1.
Worship Services
We offer a variety of services at St. Timothy's which appeal to the varied
interests of our congregation. Communion is usually on the first and third
weekends each month at all 4 services. At St. Timothy's we
practice open communion, meaning that all who have received instruction
in its meaning and who believe in the real presence of Christ in the
bread and wine, are invited to receive the sacrament. Grape juice is
also offered as an alternative to wine.
If you desire grape juice
instead of wine, please indicate this to the server by raising your
index finger.
Saturday at 6:00 pm
This is our fully contemporary service which is led by our worship
team in the Fellowship Hall. All music sung and
performed reflects the most recent trends evidenced across America.
Sunday at 8:15 am
First service on Sunday is traditional. If you enjoy all the old hymns and
standard liturgy, then this is the service for you. It takes place in the
sanctuary and is followed by a coffee and treat social.
Sunday at 9:45 am
The second service is what we call a blended service. Elements of the
traditional service are combined with the atmosphere of the contemporary
service. It is also held in the sanctuary.
Sunday at 11:15 am
The late service is also a contemporary service. It is also led by the
worship team and is held in the Fellowship Hall. Another coffee and
treat social follows.

Parking at St. Timothy's
In addition to the large lot

The Carter Ave. lot can be accessed through the Camden Ave. lot by
following the green parking signs or you can access Carter Ave. from
Kooser Rd. Parking is also available
on Carter Ave. itself. There is no parking on Camden Ave. as
it is a city "no parking zone."
4. Visitor Packets & Visitor
Cards
On the back tables
there are visitor packets. Please pick one up as they contain
lots of information about what we have to offer as a church and
school. Visitor cards are located in the pews in the Sanctuary
and on the back table in the Fellowship Hall. Please take a
moment to fill one out. They can be placed in the offering
baskets or handed to one of the pastors following the service.
We would love to know who you are and follow up with you.
5. Children
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to
Me…for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these” (Mark 10:14).
At St. Timothy’s we seek to follow Jesus’ hospitality toward
children and encourage their participation in our worship services.
We are also intentional about creating an atmosphere in which every
person is able to experience a meaningful time of worship. Nursery
care is provided for children ages three and younger. All children
are welcome and encouraged to join our family of faith in worship.
Parents are encouraged to help children participate in the service
to the best of their ability.
6. Sunday School
Sunday School is for children Preschool 3's to
adults each Sunday at 9:45 am. Nursery care is provided for
toddlers and infants. Adults also have an additional
duplicate session at 11:15 am (children Kindergarten to 5th grade
can join the Children's Music Program at 11:00). Click
