Where Faith Meets the Challenge of Culture
This class explores the
challenging interfaces of faith and our culture. The class will
be presented, September through May, in two independent but related
sections: The Truth Project (12 weeks) and Simply Christian (10
weeks). Both begin each week with a DVD presentation followed by
discussion. The former considers what "truth" means in
our present day and age; the latter explores how Christian faith
"makes sense" in our modern culture -- in spite of many
claims to the contrary. Offered in morning or evening sessions.

The
Life of Jesus
What was it about the life
of Jesus that so captured the imagination of the men and women of
his age? What was it that gripped people to the point that they
were able to leave the familiar worlds of family and safe employment
to enter the risky world of following a visionary leader? This six-week
study invites us to see the behind-the-scenes truth of the main
events of Jesus life -- so that his life can affect our lives...today...right
where we live...in the midst of our daily lives.
