Exploring!

This is a class for adults, offered during the Confirmation hour. Ideal for parents of confirmands and also suited for any adults who wish to explore parenting, the Bible, and Luther's Small Catechism. In January, we will begin with a 6-session DVD-based class, "Making Children Mind Without Losing Yours," using material by Dr. Kevin Leman, author of the popular "Running the Rapids" material we used two years ago.

The Jesus I Never Knew

This class continues our conversation with writer Philip Yancey and moves us from Old Testament to New. Using DVD, written materials and discussion, we will embark on a six-session journey that will expand - and perhaps even redefine - your understanding of the person, teachings, and life of Jesus Christ. Join us for some excellent presentations and discussions.

Parables on Discipleship

Have you ever felt reluctant to follow God's call? You are not alone! In a study of the lives of Jonah, Gideon and Moses, we discover how God overcomes our reluctance and shapes us to be the kind of servants - even leaders - that he wants us to be. Nine sessions.
