Deuteronomy:
The Book that Changed Everything
Lost for a time and then rediscovered buried in the
Temple archives, the book of Deuteronomy may have
been the first thing Israel recognized as God's written
word. And it changed everything. Come and learn how
this book became the inspiration and basis for a large
part of the Old Testament - and thus for the New,
as well. Led by Pastor Jim.

Preparing for our Annual Meeting
Along with our normal
slate of business items we will be voting on several
issues dealing with our membership in the North
American Lutheran Church (NALC). These include
modifications to the St. Timothy's constitution and
by-laws, a vote to approve the new constitution of
the NALC, and a vote to affirm altar and pulpit fellowship
between the NALC and the Ethiopian Lutheran church
body known as the Mekane Yesus (may-kah-nay YAY-zoos
= Place of Jesus) Church.
This will also be opportunity
to learn about the new Note program being offered
for signups in January and February.

C.L.A.S.S.
201:
Discovering
Spiritual Maturity
So you are a follower
of Jesus. What does that involve? Are there particular
habits and disciplines that lead to a more full and
mature life in Christ? How does one read the Bible?
C.L.A.S.S. 201 comes after the Membership Class (C.L.A.S.S.
101) and it is our hope and intent that all members
of St Tim's will take this five-week class at some
point - especially those who have become members over
the past year. Led by Pastor Jim.
9:45am, Fellowship Hall. 11:00am,
office conference area.
