The voices you hear
on the radio program are the three pastors of St.
Timothy's. Here's a little information about each
of them.

Dan
Selbo
is lead pastor at St. Timothy's. He grew up
in San Jose, went to Luther Seminary in St Paul,
Minnesota, spent his internship in South Africa,
and then, after finishing seminary, accepted
a call to St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Elk
Grove. In 1995, he was called to be lead pastor
at St Tim's. He is responsible for areas of
preaching, administration and the vision and
direction of the congregation
Dan and his wife
Mary have four children who are now beginning
to extend their own wings and leave the nest
for the destinations God has for them.

Jim
Bangsund
is one of St. Timothy's two associate pastors.
He grew up in San Bernardino, California, went
to Fuller Seminary (Pasadena) and Luther Seminary
(St. Paul, Minnesota) and accepted his first call
at Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church in San Jose.
He and his wife, Judy (who have known each other
since she was born!) then went to Tanzania (East
Africa) for 22 years where they served on a theological
faculty, returning to San Jose and joining St
Timothy's staff in 2007. Jim is responsible for
areas of preaching, teaching and mission. |

Judy
Bangsund
is St. Timothy's other associate pastor. Her
father was the founding pastor of the congregation
in which she and Jim grew up. Judy attended
seminary at Makumira University College, Tanzania,
and Luther Seminary, St. Paul, Minnesota. Her
first call was as chaplain of the University,
where she also taught preaching, worship and
music. At St. Timothy's, her responsibilities
are preaching, ministry, and youth and family.
Jim and Judy have
three children, all now married and living in
the Midwest and following some exciting steps
that God has placed before each of them.
