SPARK starts September 18 at 9:45am!

We want our kids to get into the BIBLE, but shouldn’t the BIBLE get into them, too?  Register your kids for Sunday morning SPARK!

Our programs are designed to transform hearts and lives, teaching about God’s love through Jesus Christ, basic Bible knowledge, and how we can apply it to our daily experience.  We are devoted to partnering with parents in building a solid faith foundation for our children.

WANTED:TEACHERS & Shepherd Guides

PRESCHOOL CLASSES: We are looking for teams of teachers for Preschool 3’s, Preschool 4’s, and JK/ Kindergarten classes.  This is a great way to get to know the other children and parents of St. Timothy’s.  Preschool lessons are easy to teach and lead, and always cover basic Bible lessons. 

The time commitment depends on how many people step forward.  You will stay with the same group of kids through May, but will not necessarily be needed to teach every week. 

ELEMENTARY CLASSES: (Jr. K—4th Grade) Welcome to SPARK! There is very little prep for the teachers, and the lessons are so much fun!  We teach in rotation, so each week they get to experience and learn the Bible lesson from a different perspective.  Bible truths are taught using the elements of Art, Games, Computer, Cooking, Creative Drama, Music, Science, and Video. The same lesson is taught for 4-5 weeks at a time so that all classes have the opportunity to learn through different viewpoints.  We are also looking for Jr High & Sr High Youth to serve as Shepherd Guides on Sunday mornings.  This is similar to the role of Crew Leaders at VBS.
